Most diaper lines come with hoods and a duct manifold (as seen on a JOA or GDM line) to connect to with specifications. These specifications dictate what CFM and what static pressure is required at the point where the customer's ductwork is attached to it. ASDI can provide the proper amount of CFM and static pressure to the machine manufactures manifold.
ASDI can customize a hood or series of hoods to provide an increase in the removal of dust. ASDI will use the proper gauge ductwork and provide a turnkey installation offering several types of filters that will suit the customer. An MCC and PLC can also be provided with this system. Spark detection systems can be added and we are experienced with the NFPA guidelines on the proper methods of deflagration protection. We have used Fike and Fenwall as well as several other manufacturers in our systems in the past.
Most customers have taken the air from the filters (which has gone through a HEPA filter) and we connected the ductwork to their AHU and returned the air in the production area. In some cases the ductwork went across the roof and we had the insulated and coated. Once inside we have used galvanized ductwork to release the air or we have used a Duct Sox.
